About us
Clearview Media was created as a response to the challenges faced by the Romanian community living in Toronto, Canada. Initially seen as logistical support to the publishing efforts of the bi-weekly newspaper ACASA, Clearview diversified the services offered, from pre-press to advertising design for small and average-sized businesses. We offer graphic consultancy and logistical support to Canadian-Romanians and not only them, accepting new clients mainly on a referral basis.
Since we care about significant memories from the years that pass by, we have added professional photography services to our portfolio, to accommodate those moments that are worth being cherished over the years. You can find more information in the section dedicated to our photography services.
Mihai Manolache combines his editing experience from the newspaper business and design skills with strategic vision over the entire project, derived from his recent B2B sales experience. Mihai is able to chase the right angle and framing for your pictures. Moreover, Mihai can indicate what sells in you project and what does not, as Mihai has worked in direct contact with clients since 2003, identifying marketing and advertising needs.
In Romania, Mihai Manolache worked for ProSport magazine, and for a media advertising agency, being involved in marketing and advertising projects for Novo Nordisk Romania, Automatica SA, Terwa BV etc.: business cards, fliers, brochures, posters, calendars, publications. In November 2004, Mihai had the opportunity to work directly with Iulian Puiu, Creative Director (Art) and Managing Partner with Re:ply, graphically re-launching Cotidianul newspaper, where he helped implementing a new concept adapted to market requirements.
In 2007, Mihai designed the graphic concept for ACASA newspaper, offering his contribution to bring ACASA from an editorial sketch to the Romanian publication with the largest circulation and distribution area across Canada. Currently, Mihai Manolache is also managing editor at ACASA, his (photo)graphic and editorial efforts within the staff increasing its prestige.
You can see a preview of Mihai’s photographic and design work in our portfolio section.
Spirit of Romania concert nights are another milestone of our work. Another project, another opportunity to work with enthusiasm assisting the artists that have chosen and choose to honor us with their performance. You were able to see some of the shots from these events in the photo gallery on ACASA website. Other shots are also available in our portfolio section.
